At the end of June, about a month after he was born, I got the chance to meet Baby Grayson. His mom and dad were a friend through crossfit and they were also a wedding client that I had the pleasure of photographing in 2013! I knew from the time mom called me that this session was going to be extra special.
Mom and Dad were so wonderful! The only image mom insisted on trying to capture was Baby Grayson on his elephant. Since he was so wide eyed when I arrived at their home I was a bit skeptical if he would cooperate. With that being the only request they had, I knew that I wanted to capture them as a family environmentally spending time together. To document how their lives are at this very moment. As a new mom I know time passes by fast and how important it is to have images like this to look back on and remember how this moment in time was.

Of course I could not end the session without a star appearance from the family dog Bailey!
