OH MY were has a year gone??!!! I cannot believe it that one year ago today, in our favorite city New Orleans Rob and I said I DO!! That year has surely snuck up on us and I cannot believe that I have never posted anything about our wedding. I was so lucky to have FOUR of the most fabulous photographers to document my day! Thank you to Carla Ten Eyck, Ty Foster, Jane Shauck and Amanda Herzberger! So today I am remembering some of our favorite moments that day and why!
This photo is one of our favorites .. it was pouring rain and just a moment before the ceremony to be by ourselves.
I remember this moment .. it was pouring and I was thinking where are we going to get married .. since it was to be outside … and 10 minutes before the ceremony the rain stopped and the sun came out for a mere second! EVERYONE was so pumped!
I TREASURE this image taken by Tyler. A local let him go up into their balcony and take photos. Come on!!! Only in New Orleans would that happen! Tyler stitched together a pano for us of what the ceremony looked like. This is so important because we had no idea how many people just passing by stopped to watch us say I DO! This corner of Royal Street is also important to us for it is only block away from where Rob proposed to me!

This was moments after we signed the marriage license. I remember saying to Rob .. “Well this is it! No turning back!”
So excited Rob just swept me off my feet! Look at all our guests and just passing people!
I think our expressions say it all! Moments after our ceremony we paraded around the french quarter!
It was the end of the night and it was time to head to Bourbon Street. Just a moment to take it all in Thank You Carla Ten Eyck!
