NEW ORLEANS WEDDINGS :: LAUREN AND JASON

Lauren and Jason had the most PERFECT New Orleans weather on their wedding day! The sun was shining with not a cloud in the sky. The warm weather was still in the air and the golden light was just breathe taking. They were a very relaxed and excited couple and it was a pleasure to work with them both and their families.

I stared out at Jason’s Aunts beautiful southern home in Mid-City. Lauren and Jason opted for a first look due to the sun setting early and so they could enjoy their portraits. This was such a wise move since it is dark out early in the winter months and in New Orleans weddings are much more compact then New England weddings.

This moment happened right after their first look. Lauren and Jason just snuggled up and took a moment to take in what was happening.

Afternoon golden light in the middle of the street .. I will take this all day long! These two are my favorites!

Lauren and Jason live in Mid-City and thought it was only right to have their wedding at a venue they visit often: Rock N Bowl.Think of it as a bowling alley meets a small music theater. There is so much character and warmth to this venue it is truly unique.

The fabulous Luminous Events took care of the ambiance with their candle decor!
